Burbank Zontian Elected to International Board


[OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, 8 July 2022]— Zonta International, a leading global organization building a better world for women and girls, is pleased to announce board director, Britt Vaughan.

Elected by the voting members at the Zonta International 65th Convention in Hamburg, Germany, Ms. Vaughan was inducted on 28 June and will serve as a board director of Zonta International and the Zonta Foundation for Women for the next two years.

Britt is excited to enter her new position as she states,

“I am thrilled to be a member of this dynamic board. As a millennial, I bring a much-needed perspective and find my fellow members have the same appetite for change as we build this better world for women and girls.”

Britt is a proud member of the Zonta Club of Burbank Area and previously served as the Governor of Zonta International District 9 as well as in various other leadership roles at the district and club levels.

A Los Angeles native who holds masters degrees in literature and public administration with a nonprofit emphasis, Brittany (Britt) Vaughan is an experienced nonprofit professional with expertise in operations and grants management in the fields of youth and workforce development. She takes pride in her demonstrated ability to be an inspiring, yet planful, agent of change. She is currently a Development Manager at MEND – Meet Each Need with Dignity, an organization that meets the immediate needs of individuals and families and strengthens their capacity to thrive. She is also a member of her local Los Angeles neighborhood council where she represents over 100,000 neighborhood constituents. She envisions the future of Zonta as the premier 21st century organization of gender equity, attracting the talent and expertise of global citizens the world is motivated to follow.
