LUNAFEST supports and celebrates women filmmakers

Zonta Burbank partners with the New York Film Academy to present a program of short films by, for and about women.

Looking on, filmmaker Roshni Bhatia, recipient of a Zonta Club of Burbank WINGS grant for women pursuing educational or vocational advancement after a life-changing setback. Bhatia attended New York Film Academy, graduating in 2019.


In 2018-2019, women represented 15.1% of directors, 17.4% of writers, and 18% of studio heads, according to womenandhollywood.com. LUNAFEST supports women filmmakers.
