What began as a compassionate response to the devastation of the LA wildfires has blossomed into a lifeline for new mothers navigating recovery and resilience. The Zonta Club of Burbank Area is proud to share that $2,000 from our Phoenix Wildfire Relief Fund has been donated to Mama2Mama, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting mothers and babies in crisis.
Originally created to assist wildfire survivors, the Phoenix Fund was made possible by the generosity of many Zonta clubs across the region. As the needs of the community evolved, so did our mission. We recognized that new mothers—especially those displaced or impacted by the fires—faced unique challenges in accessing basic necessities and emotional support.
Mama2Mama stepped in with compassion and care, providing essential supplies, postpartum support, and a sense of community to women who needed it most. Their work aligns beautifully with Zonta’s mission to empower women and girls through service and advocacy.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Rachel, Karen, and the entire Mama2Mama team for their tireless dedication. Your work uplifts families and strengthens the fabric of our community.
This donation is more than financial aid—it’s a symbol of hope, healing, and the power of women helping women.
