Jamie Keyser-Thomas is the 2022 recipient of the Mary Alice O'Connor Vision Award
October 15, 2022 - Zonta Burbank member and Burbank Chamber of Commerce CEO, Jamie Keyser-Thomas has been honored by Family Service Agency as this year's recipient of the Mary Alice O'Connor Award. The award recognizes those who do extraordinary work in the community.
The award was presented at Burbank Family Service Agency's annual "Imagine a City" gala at The Pointe.
FSA helps to improve the quality of life for all people by providing counseling, prevention, education, and advocacy to empower children, adults, and families to achieve psychological, emotional, and social well-being.
In accepting the award, Keyser-Thomas said she was both honored and humbled. She remembered O'Connor as a powerful community leader and a kind soul who offered inspiration and endless support during the years they were friends.
Both women are also past recipients of the Zonta Club of Burbank's Woman of the Year award. Mary Alice O'Connor was honored in 2003 and Jamie Keyser-Thomas in 2014.
