Updated: May 28, 2020

Burbank domestic violence shelter receives a Zonta Centennial Anniversary grant.

Members of the Zonta Club of Burbank present a $5,000 check to Burbank's Family Service Agency.

This award recognizes and honors an outstanding organization in the community with a proven record of empowering women.

Family Service Agency of Burbank (FSA) works to improve the quality of life for all people in a society that often stigmatizes those seeking psychological care and has minimized the impact of domestic violence on our communities. FSA offers crisis intervention, clinical counseling, transitional housing, and violence prevention services and education to individuals of all ages. Dedicated to providing mental health care for all and eliminating domestic violence, suicide, and all other forms of interpersonal violence, FSA also works to prevent homelessness and serve veterans and their families. They provide critical life-changing, and often life-saving, counseling and preventive services in Burbank, on 18 school campuses, and in 3 residential treatment facilities.
